The frozen ice shelf under the stars. One of my favorite scenes in the midwest.

It's the first day of October and there's big news to share! Owner & Executive Chef Brad Hindsley recently extended an offer to exhibit my work over the fall and winter at the beautiful Spire Restaurant. I graciously accepted! The grand opening is in 2 weeks!

I carefully noted what wall space was available and where, and have spent the last 3 weeks making very deliberate final selections for prints, mats, frames, and sizes to fill those spots in a way that does the space justice.

This is the first image taken with my late Opa's 30 year old Nikkor 300mm lens adapted for use on my Canon dSLR. Taken just after midnight on a brisk misty fall night over 30 miles of water.

The gallery will open with images from previous seasons. As the pieces find new homes, more recent captures showing the changing 2014 fall and winter seasons will replace them. It will be an evolving gallery!

The opening reception is Thursday, October 16th from 5-7pm, with free passed appetizers and a cash bar with artfully crafted cocktails, beers, and fine wines. Let's make it a party! See you at the grand opening!
